filters

Type: object
Default: {}

Supported parameters are:

  • price.min - The lowest price to keep. A place is kept when any of its prices is at least this much. Leave it out for no lower limit.
  • price.max - The highest price to keep. A place is kept when any of its prices is at most this much. Leave it out for no upper limit.
  • categories - Category keys or labels to keep. An empty array keeps all categories.
  • accessibilityTypes - Accessibility types to keep: 'accessible', 'semiAmbulatorySeat', 'hearingImpaired', 'signLanguageInterpretation', 'cartServices', 'plusSize', 'liftUpArmrests' or 'aisleSeat'. A place is kept when it has any of them. Kept places are marked on the chart.
  • sections - Section labels to keep. Places outside any section are greyed out too. An empty array keeps all sections.
  • ticketTypes - Ticket types to keep. A place is kept when it offers any of them. Places without ticket types are greyed out. An empty array keeps all places.
  • listingType - 'resale' keeps places that are up for resale, 'primary' keeps places that aren't, and 'both' keeps all places. Defaults to 'both'.

Prices include fees, unless pricing.allFeesIncluded is set. When ticketTypes is passed too, only the prices of those ticket types count.

categories replaces the deprecated filteredCategories. When both are passed, filteredCategories is ignored.

new seatsio.SeatingChart({
divId: 'chart',
workspaceKey: '<yourPublicWorkspaceKey>',
event: '<yourEventKey>',
filters: {
price: { min: 10, max: 50 },
categories: ['Stalls', 'Balcony'],
accessibilityTypes: ['accessible']
}
}).render();

Changing the filters

Pass filters to chart.changeConfig() to change them after the chart has rendered. The new filters replace the old ones completely, so pass an empty object to remove all filters.

chart.changeConfig({
filters: {
price: { max: 80 }
}
});
